PhosLess also removes heavy metals and sulphide which can be harmful to fish health.The PhosLess inserts can be placed into the Oase Biotec 18 and 36 filters or directly into moving water such as a stream or watercourse.We recommend that for maximum effectiveness Oase PhosLess should be replaced every 6-8 weeks. The bound phosphate can be re-used as a fertiliser additive in the garden.Treats 10,000 litres of pond water with an initial concentration of up to 5 mg phosphate per litre.The PhosLess filter cartridges are a two-component system that can be used to supplement any filter system and serves as biological algae protection.
