These wire strippers are Meisei Coprorations's solution to lower quality wire strippers that are on the market, which aren't able to strip wires as quickly as efficiently as HOTweezers.The hand held tweezers are made from high strength, high temperature alloy and weigh 57g (just under two ounces). Because they weigh very little, it means that they can be held comfortably in the users hand, creating a smooth and efficient wire stripping action.The heater filaments built within the stripper head are completely sealed and as the heat produced is extremely targetted, it means that the power supply can be smaller because it consumes less energy.The power supply features an 'on/off' switch as well as 'Hi' and 'Low' jacks. It also features a temperature control switch and unique holder for the hand unit. When the HOTweezers hand unit is placed in the holder, it activates the temperature control to be set into idle mode and when the wire stripper is removed from its holder the control is set back to the original temperature. The supply provides an isolated, low-voltage output for operator safety.This product is CE marked, meaning it is safe to use in the European Economic Area.  UK adaptor included. EU and US plugs also available.
