HOTweezers Thermal Wire Strippers Model 4B for 28 - 18 AWG (0.38mm - 1.22mm) wire are manufactured by Meisei Corporation. These thermal wire strippers are shaped like a pair of cut-off tweezers, which are designed to sit comfortably in the hand and only weigh 57g (less than two ounces). The heater filaments are sealed completely within the stripper head and this design ensures that the majority of the heat produced, is used on the job at hand. The stripper head is made of high-strength, high-temperature alloy with fantastic oxidation and wear and tear properties. It has been designed to yield a clean and even strip, that doesn't create insulation tails and cut-offs, whilst also preventing mashing of the conductor strands (especially finer gauges) within the wire. There is an easily adjustable strip length gauge built into the wire strippers, designed to ensure that repetitive wire stripping can be done accurately. The flexible power cord that powers the unit has a high-temperature silicone rubber jacket, designed to resist burns. We recommend you the M-10 thermal power supply when powering this unit.This product is CE marked, meaning it is safe to use in the European Economic Area.
