HOTnife 2A - Thermal Knife

The 2A HOTknife by Meisei Corporation from California, is designed for use where razor blades or knives are hazardous to personnel or components.The heat (which ranges from 300°F - 1550°F / 149°C - 816°C) is generated in the blade, but it won't cut when the blade is cold. Due to the size of the small blade, which can be held within the hand, it is useful for de-potting and de-flashing and can easily be used under a microscope for delicate work. As this product is only a single blade construction, it can easily strip large diameter conductors and jackets, which includes irregular shaped cross-sections without nicking shield or conductor strands. The HOTknife can be used with the M-10 power supply which can be bought seperately with UK, EU and US plug sockets. This product is CE marked, meaning it is safe to use in the European Economic Area.
