The Steinel MH5 is a professional 18V cordless digital heat gun for mobile hot air applications where access to a mains power supply is limited. Has an adjustable temperature range of 50°C to 500°C, controlled digitally in 10°C increments using the rear joystick. Reaches 300°C in approximately four seconds and heats to its maximum temperature of 500°C in around 20 seconds. Provides six digitally controlled airflow settings from 150 to 300 litres per minute, allowing the heat output to be matched to the material and application. Four programmable settings allow commonly used temperature and airflow combinations to be stored for quick and repeatable operation. The integrated LCD clearly displays the selected temperature and airflow level. An LED work light positioned at the base of the tool illuminates the working area in poorly lit vehicles, workshops and jobsite environments. Compatible with the 18V Cordless Alliance System (CAS), allowing the heat gun to be powered by compatible Metabo and other CAS battery packs. The compact, balanced design has a non slip standing surface for stable hands-free positioning when required. Provides approximately 20 minutes of continuous runtime with the supplied 5.5Ah battery, depending on the selected temperature and airflow settings.Suitable for applications such as repairing vehicle tarpaulins, patching roofing membranes, heat shrinking, shaping plastics, removing adhesives and other installation or repair work. Supplied with one Steinel MH5 cordless heat gun, one 18V 5.5Ah lithium-ion CAS battery, battery charger and protective carry case.
