Neue Schule Turtle Top with Flex 16mm Full Cheek - X-Large (148mm-158mm)

The Neue Schule Turtle Top with Flex 16mm Full Cheek is an anatomy-inspired double jointed bit. Designed with enhanced mouthpiece stability, through optimised alignment of the mouthpiece surfaces to the tongue and palate. The Neue Schule Flex design concept delivers a well-controlled co-alignment of the surfaces of the mouthpiece with the sensitive surfaces of the equine mouth. For most designs, Flex delivers parallel co-alignment of the Turtle Top dome with the equine palate. The Flex Z gently curved cannons form a wide arch aligned over the tongue and held in shape by Turtle Top. Flex Z is therefore more securely centred on the tongue and more resistant to being pulled through the mouth. The Full Cheek reinforces the turning aid, promoting straightness and turning. It is particularly useful for young horses to establish the bend, and also highly recommended for novice riders who may not fully support their inside rein, as the Full Cheek will stabilise the mouth.
