These cutters offer a broad range of applications, from cutting wire rope fibre to copper, the long cutting edges make these ideal for cutting cable. The narrow head is perfect for use in tight, hard to reach spaces.Forged from vanadium electric steel in Germany, which is forged and oil hardened in multiple stages, ensuring ultimate strength and durability. A high frequency current is also used to give the cutters a hardness of approximately 62 HRC.Insulated with multi-component grips which are VDE-tested up to 1000 volts, in accordance with IEC 60900 / DIN EN 60900.With Induction hardened cutting edges which are suitable for soft (Ø 4.0 mm), medium (Ø 3.0 mm) and hard (Ø 2.0 mm) wire.Can cut wire cleanly, even at the cutting edge tips, thanks to the precision, elongated cutting edges. The carefully and precisely machined cutting edges enable even very fine stranded wire to be cut accurately. This is a great advantage where space is restricted, for example when shortening fine stranded wires in junction boxes and distribution boxes.With chrome plating which offers excellent rust protection and enables easy cleaning.
